About the Author - p. 2 of 2
The author is a strong advocate of the benefits of a physically and mentally active lifestyle. He has completed seven marathons (including the prestigious Boston Marathon on two occasions), an Ironman, and many other triathlons, road races, centuries, open-water swims, and other endurance events. He has developed a Windows-based program called GALOIS for finding and analyzing finite mathematical groups. His most recent intellectual project is a logic calculator called LogiCal, which interprets and evaluates logical arguments expressed in the language of propositional calculus, monadic predicate calculus, elementary set theory, or an English-based Natural Language. The executable for GALOIS can be downloaded from here, and the most recent version of the executable for LogiCal can be downloaded from here.     Home
